Perfectly Imperfect

A grungy heart. Not my usual style, but I like it nonetheless. And what better way to embrace imperfection than this messy, imperfect heart?

I lived most of my life striving for perfection but it wasn’t until I was in my 40’s that I realized that it was an unattainable goal. Perfection is an illusion. There is no such thing. As I always remind my kids – the only one that’s perfect is God. No one else. We are all beautifully flawed and imperfect. And that’s ok.

Imperfectly yours,

Jackie Barragan
